High Dividend Yield ETFs

Portfolios of these ETFs consist of equities which offer a high dividend yield. Most of these companies are owned by a state. Governments need resources to cover their expenditures so they put pressure on management boards in order to receive higher dividends.

Many pension funds invest in high-dividend stocks to maintain high liquidity and to pay retirement to their pensioners.

Companies from energy sector (especially those that are state-owned) pay a high dividend yield which exceeds 3%. They have higher dividend payout ratio and usually lower P/E and P/BV than other stocks.

Dividend funds don't have to pay a dividend tax, which might be useful in tax avoidance during bear markets.
