It uses a range of fuels to generate electricity, including coal, gas, fuel oil, water, wind, and solar, as well as hydro, energy storage, biomass, and landfill gas. The company owns and/or operates a generation portfolio of approximately 29,289 megawatts. It has operations in the United States, Chile, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
